Health insurance scheme for journalists soon,

Karachi: Media Coordinator of Sindh government Taj Haider said on Wednesday that the provincial government has planned to introduce health insurance scheme for the journalists.
Handing over the cheque of Rs.100, 000/- to Mehmood Ghoto, a senior journalist of Malir district, Karachi, representing Sindhi daily ‘Ibrat’, at his office here, he said the health insurance scheme is aimed to provide better and timely healthcare facilities to journalists. Journalist Mehmood Ghoto’s both kidneys have failed and is currently under-treatment. Taj Haider urged the newspaper organizations to take care of their workers and provide them basis facilities. Director Information (Administration) Tariq Kherro and Director Information (Press) S. M. Iqbal were also present.
